These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your subscription to, and use of, internet services provided by Strenatech Nigeria Limited ("Strenatech", "we", "us"), our website at strenatech.ng, our customer portal, and our mobile app (together, the "Service"). By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Nigerian law to subscribe. You're responsible for providing accurate registration information and keeping it up to date, and for all activity that happens under your account and password. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We supply internet connectivity to the installation address on your account, at the speed and terms of your chosen plan. Speeds quoted are "up to" figures under ideal conditions; actual throughput can vary with your equipment, in-building wiring, device capability, and general network conditions. Plans are for reasonable personal or business use as described at sign-up; we don't guarantee a specific level of performance for any particular application.
Installation dates are estimates and may be affected by site access, civil works, or coverage availability. Equipment we install or supply — routers, ONTs, cabling — remains our property unless we've expressly sold it to you, and must be returned in working condition if your subscription ends, subject to our Refund Policy. You agree not to tamper with, resell, or use network equipment for any purpose other than receiving the Service, and to provide reasonable access to your premises for installation, maintenance and fault repair.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We may suspend or terminate service, without refund of the current billing period, for a serious or repeated breach of this section.
We work to keep the network available and performant, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned maintenance will be notified in advance where practical. We're not liable for outages or degraded performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including power failures, third-party fibre cuts, extreme weather, civil disturbance, or acts of government — commonly known as force majeure events.
Our plans are not usage-capped, but are provided for genuine personal or business connectivity. Where a very small number of accounts generate disproportionate, sustained network load that materially affects service quality for other subscribers, we may apply reasonable traffic management, and in extreme or repeated cases, request a plan upgrade or suspend the account. We'll always attempt to contact you first.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the customer portal or by contacting support; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account for non-payment, breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or if required by law or a regulator. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately and any outstanding balance remains payable.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Strenatech is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service — including loss of data, business, or profit — except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, technology, or legal requirements. We'll post the revised Terms here with an updated "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will first be addressed through our customer support process; if unresolved, it falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, without prejudice to any right you have to refer a complaint to the Nigerian Communications Commission.
